Lujhboia – Sendero de Panico

Did you know that there is industrial music in Argentina?  Though Lujhboia is billed as “Old School Dark Electro,” to my ears the music is inspired by a decidedly new-school electro aesthetic.  For the most part, Sendero de Panico is fast-paced, punishing aggrotech.  The tracks are actually quite melodic, for all their distorted vocals; for example, “Sins of My Past” sounds a bit like future pop on steroids.  While the album’s production quality is high, Lujhboia needs a little something extra to stand out from the pack.  The synth sounds are fairly pedestrian and there isn’t much to differentiate this from other projects offering in-your-face aggression.  However, it is being offered for free download, so check it out and keep an eye out for what Lujhboia does next.
