Despite claiming to bridge the gap between goth and industrial, Anders Manga’s music is pretty standard modern EBM dressed up with spooky and faux-transgressive touches.  (Oooh, a song about Lucifer!  A song about marijuana!)  The songs on Blood Lush are all fairly formulaic: sung-spoken verses, impassioned choruses, and bog-standard sequencing.  To be honest, even after multiple listens I’m having trouble telling the tracks apart.  Blood Lush isn’t bad necessarily, just boring.
