Action and Reaction, the latest reissue from the Two Gods imprint, is collaboration between Attrition and Audio Letter, though only Attrition gets top billing on the album.  Comprised (mostly) of lengthy tracks, Action and Reaction has a mid-period Coil-esque hue; minimal experimentalism mixes with Attrition’s immediately-recognizable near-operatic female vocals to create textures somewhere between the somber soundscapes of This Death House and the fractured electro-goth of Smiling, at the Hypogonder Club.  While this isn’t necessarily a key piece of Attrition’s back catalog, fans will enjoy this chance to hear what they got up to on the weekends.
