SARS Wars: Bangkok Zombie Crisis
This Thai flick has it all: SARS-infected zombies sporting vampire teeth, a sword-wielding hero who does the inchworm to escape his foes, a transvestite master-of-disguise crime boss wearing a Cats t-shirt, a moonwalking security guard, a scientist who is inexplicably wearing goth clubwear under her hazmat suit, plenty of slapstick violence, and what is probably the most bizarre kidnapping scene even to make it to film. Did I mention the giant snake, the lightsaber-esque MacGuffin, or the CGI zombie baby that sure is wipe Ally McBeal’s dancing baby from your mind? While light on plot, coherence, and good taste, SARS Wars packs in enough psychotronic thrills to last you through several buckets of popcorn. Fans of Wild Zero will love this.
