Judging from the album title, I think it is safe to say that Kastle Greyskull will not be invited to play at Lilith Fair.  In fact, the name of the album is a pretty good indication of what you should expect: scum-rock.  Kastle Greyskull write short bursts of thrash-punk reminiscent in style and tone to The Misfits and .45 Grave, but without any of the curveballs that earned those bands their classic status.  Predictably, the band’s lyrical bent is decidedly sociopathic; get ready for songs about killing cats, suicide, and hatred.  This might be the album you turn to when you need a short stab of aggressive misanthropy, but don’t expect any musical surprises.

Also, when will bands learn that a two-minute track of static noise is really annoying?
