Yeah, it’s trash, and would be vastly improved by just removing the CGI title dog altogether. But let’s face it…Matthew Lillard is, like, the perfect Shaggy. And Linda Cardellini (as Velma) in a tight red catsuit? Meow! Any live-action remake of a cartoon show is completely unnecessary, but honestly, it could have been a lot worse.
