Vanessa Paradis (Mrs. Johnny Depp) plays Concia, a pretty and peppy young rock singer in a backwoods town. Her daddy, Mr. Bosco, is the most powerful man in the swampy setting, and also organizer of the annual Beef Pie Festival and talent show. He’s more than happy to help put away Concia’s studly stuntman boyfriend, James Battle, after the wanna-be Fonzie wrecks Bosco’s bar in a bad motorcycle jump. With James out of the way, Concia is wide open for the skeevy advances of a visiting big-city impresario. Little do the jerkwater hicks know the city slicker is only stopping by for a quickie on his way to bigger plans. Even worse, gigantic interdimensional insectoids have arrived to breed with humans and open a portal to Hell. It’s a weird and wacky time, along the same route as Repo Man. Vanessa looks great, tentacles and heads fly, raunchy rock music wails, and James pulls one wicked world-spanning wheelie. Crazy comical fun.
