Sins of the New Flesh is a DVD compilation from Houston’s own Kings and Queens of the perverse, Bozo Porno Circus. The DVD has four sections: the Main Feature (six music videos), BPC Raw (three live tracks), a documentary section called Behind the Perversion, and the obligatory Photo Gallery. As the documentary and the photo stills are fairly unnecessary, the real content is the videos and the live footage. The videos are fun, showcasing the band’s fetishistic take on industrial rock to good effect, even if they often skimp on production values and err on the side of laughable B-movie cheese. The live footage gives a good feel for the Bozo Porno Circus experience, even if the performance from 1992 outs their possible hair metal roots. All in all, this is a fun disc for fans, but nothing really replicates seeing the live show.
