The good news is that High Tension is almost every bit as excellent as Haute Tension. The cuts are mostly unnoticeable and seem to favor curtailing the duration of certain scenes rather than intensity. The bad news is that the mix of subtitled and dubbed dialog is a distracting at first and the explanation of why there are two languages at work is a tad silly. This is quite possibly the most thrilling thing in the theatres at this moment, don’t miss out.
