Holy crap this is the most pretentious tripe I’ve ever seen, and I’ve suffered through enough student film shows to know what I’m talking about. Anthony Edwards and Darryl Hannah play bizarrely fancy angels who appear in an evacuating town to test the divinity of an ailing orphan under the watch of greasy preacher Nick Nolte. That doesn’t even begin to describe the abundant nuttiness this movie shovels on in heaps. I’m embarrassed for everyone involved. Avoid!
