Yes, contrary to the big bold letters on the cover, there are plenty of cuts in several of these episodes. And despite all of John K.’s bragging over the work that went into preparing this set, a lot of the ad satire shorts (Log, Powdered Toast Man) look like they’ve been stored away in the crumb catcher of a toaster oven for the past decade. But in the end, these early episodes are still laugh-out-loud funny and fresh after over a decade of countless, second-rate imitators.
